Whatever you’re saving for, start somewhere.

Save for the plans. And the just-in-cases.

Whether you’re building an emergency fund, planning for something big, or simply putting more away for the future, there’s a savings option for where you are and where you want to go. Financial Center gives you flexible ways to save, competitive rates, and guidance to help you get moving toward your goals.

Every savings story needs a starting point.

When you become a member, you'll automatically open a Starter Savings Account. It's the base of your membership at Financial Center. With Starter Savings, you can:

Keep money available when you need it
Build toward short- or long-term goals
Manage balances and transfers with Digital Banking

Big goals deserve bigger earnings.

Saving gets a little easier when you give your money a specific job. Holiday and Hideaway Savings Accounts create a little separation between everyday spending and the money you’re setting aside.

Holiday Savings Account

Set money aside throughout the year for gifts, travel, celebrations, and everything else the holidays bring. Your savings stay tucked away until November 1, when they’re deposited into the account you choose.

Hideaway Savings Account

Give bigger expenses their own place to build. Hideaway Savings limits you to three withdrawals per year without a fee, giving you a little extra motivation to leave your savings where you put them.

Different goals. Different ways to save.

Sometimes you need easy access. Sometimes you’re comfortable letting your money sit awhile. And sometimes you’re saving for something specific. Explore more ways to put your money to work.

Certificates

Lock in a competitive rate for a set term and know what your money is earning along the way. With multiple term options, you can choose one that works with your timeline. Plus, we offer HSA, IRA, and Business Certificates, too.

Money Markets

Keep your savings accessible while earning a competitive rate, with tiered APYs that can increase as your balance grows.

Health Savings Accounts

If you’re eligible for an HSA, set aside money for qualified healthcare expenses while taking advantage of potential tax benefits.Notice 1

Save to Win Certificate

Saving is already a win. This Certificate adds the chance for more, with guaranteed returns plus entries into monthly and quarterly cash prize drawings as your balance grows.

Extra protection for the money you’ve worked for.

Your savings come with an added layer of protection. In addition to standard NCUA insurance coverage, Financial Center provides Excess Share Insurance as a member benefit – helping protect qualifying deposits beyond federal coverage limits.

Savings accounts earn dividends, which are similar to interest paid by banks. The amount you earn depends on your account type, your balance, and the current dividend rate.

Rates and Annual Percentage Yield (APY) are subject to change, and some accounts, like Money Markets, may offer higher dividend rates as your balance grows. Explore our rates page to learn how you can make more from your money.

A Money Market Account combines the flexibility of a savings account with the opportunity to earn higher dividends on larger balances.

With a minimum opening deposit of $1,000, you'll have access to your money when you need it while earning competitive rates. As your balance increases, you may qualify for higher dividend rate tiers.

If you're looking to grow your savings without locking your money away, a Money Market Account could be a great fit.

It depends on your savings goals and when you'll need access to your money.

  • A Certificate may be the better choice if you're comfortable setting your money aside for a fixed term in exchange for a guaranteed dividend rate.
  • A Money Market Account may be a better fit if you want to earn competitive dividends while keeping your savings readily available for planned or unexpected expenses.

Not sure which option is right for you? Our financial coaches are happy to help you compare your options and choose the savings solution that best fits your goals.
