Financial Center Receives National Recognition for New Brand

March 28, 2013

Financial Center recently received six national marketing awards at the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing and Business Development Council's annual conference. The credit union, which underwent a complete rebranding in 2012, won three Best in Category Awards for brand awareness, branding/corporate identity, and a television ad series. It also won three Diamond Awards for its new logo, brochures, and a single television ad.

Financial Center's rebranding consisted of a complete overhaul of the credit union's logo and identity package, its marketing materials, as well as repositioning its service standards and community outreach efforts. The award recognition comes just days after Financial Center's  announcement of merger plans with Horizon One Federal Credit Union.

"We are extremely honored to receive national recognition for our marketing and branding efforts," said Daniel Kavanaugh, Financial Center's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We are very well positioned to increase awareness of our Credit Union in and around Indianapolis and share our unique approach to serving members and helping them improve their financial lives."

Financial Center collaborated with Indianapolis-based iDiz, Inc. and giraph, LLC out of Richmond, Virginia for its branding initiatives.

CUNA's Marketing and Business Development Council works to raise the level of professionalism among credit union marketers and position marketing and business development as the driving force for credit unions. Credit unions of all sizes, from all over the country, compete for the Council's prestigious Diamond Awards.
