Financial Center Names New Chief of Human Resources and Hires New Benefits Administrator

Financial Center First Credit Union recently promoted Jo Kiel to Chief Human Resource Officer. She previously served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In her role, she oversees human resources, enterprise project management, operational support, facilities and logistics.

While Kiel earned a degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University, most of her experience has been in the credit union industry. She has worked in financial services for 26 years, 21 of those with Financial Center, where she has specialized in Retail Operations and Human Resources.

Kiel believes that one of her most important roles is to influence culture at Financial Center; creating and maintaining a strong cultural core, cultivating creative leaders and making sure talent strategies are aligned with mission and vision, from recruitment to succession.

Additionally, Financial Center has hired Staci Bourff as its new Employee Payroll and Benefits Administrator. Bourff joins the credit union with over eight years of experience in the human resource area having most recently worked for Key Benefits Administration. A graduate of Hanover College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration, Staci is currently pursuing a PHR Certificate in Human Resources.
