Finance Center Federal Credit Union hosted its 13th annual Charity Golf Outing on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. The event was held at Southern Dunes Golf Course and was sponsored by 36 vendors. Over 63 golfers and 13 volunteers stuck out the morning rain to enjoy a sunny afternoon on the course.

The event was Finance Center’s most successful charity golf outing, raising $10,007.23 for St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. The food pantry serves over 3,000 households each week, making it the largest food pantry in the Midwest.

This year Finance Center Federal Credit Union is dedicated not only to helping St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry monetarily, but also with a donation of time. Staff have volunteered at two service days with the food pantry this year and will participate in additional service days in September and December.
