Be True to your School (and your Credit Union)
The Big Ten Mens' Basketball Tournament tips off today in Indianapolis. Being an avid sports fan, I'm always excited when these great events come to our city. With the tournament this week, I'm rooting for my Indiana Hoosiers.
For IU nation, it has been a rough season. I try and watch every game and most of those games this year have not ended favorably for my alma mater. After a particular frustrating game this season my wife asked, "Why do you still watch them?" My answer was that my loyalty to the team is strong so I'm supportive whether the team wins or loses (I'm also a big Cubs fan, but that's another post entirely).
I think of our credit union members as a team and our organization as their fans. We wish for our members' success in achieving their financial goals. We encourage this achievement by offering the right products and services designed for those goals as well as the proper financial education so that our members know how to reach those goals.
We have been loyal to the Indianapolis community for over 50 years. Statistics I have read in the past say that the average banking customer changes institutions every two to three years. Our current members here at Financial Center have been with our credit union an average of 10 years.
We're loyal to our members and their loyal to us in return. Come find out why today. Visit one of our Centers in the Indianapolis area, go to our website at www.fcfcu.com or give us a call at 317.916.7700.
We're here to be your fan - no matter how long it takes for you to capture your title.
