Always Marketing the Credit Union
I had the pleasure of attending my younger sister's graduation this weekend at Indiana University in Bloomington. We had great weather, and it was fun to visit the campus again.
After the commencement ceremony, we had lunch at a restaurant in the student union located in the heart of campus. We talked about what everyone was up to, my sister's future plans, and gave the graduate a few gifts. One of the gifts my sister received was a check from one of our grandparents. That's when I started talking about the credit union.
"I know of a great place where you can deposit that check," I said to my sister.
It's my job to promote the credit union and our products, and it's easy when you have a great thing to promote. We started talking about credit unions and the necessary requirements and benefits. I think I'm only one more lunch away from convincing her to become a credit union member.
