Financial Center Employees on the Move

Financial Center has promoted Nathaniel Traxler to District Retail Sales Manager of its Geist Center. Traxler has been with the Credit Union for over three years, previously serving as the Geist office’s Center Operations Manager. He is currently attending Liberty University working towards a degree in Religious Studies. Traxler has volunteered with Brookside Community Center, as well as at youth summer camps and inner city outreach programs. He is also involved with Habitat for Humanity, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, and St. Vincent de Paul. Traxler resides on the south side of Indianapolis.

Melody Syck has been promoted to District Retail Sales Manager of Financial Center’s branch located within the DFAS Government Center on East 56th Street. With over 19 years of experience in financial services, Syck has been with Financial Center for over 10 years, most recently serving as the Center Operations Manager for the DFAS Center. A resident of Fishers, Syck is currently enrolled at Ivy Tech to complete her degree in Business Administration and is involved with the Indianapolis chapters of the Association of Government Accountants and the American Society of Military Comptrollers.

Paula Burrell has been promoted to the Center Operations Manager of the Geist Center. She has been with the Credit Union for over a year serving as a Senior Personal Service Representative. She holds her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and is a resident of McCordsville.

Alex Davis has been promoted to the Center Operations Manager of the DFAS Center. He has been with Financial Center for over a year serving as Senior Personal Service Representative. He is currently pursuing his Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech. A resident of Indianapolis, Davis assists in projects at Lawrence Township Schools and volunteers at Indianapolis Animal Care and Control.

Financial Center has also promoted Justin Bruce to Staff Accountant at the Credit Union’s Main Office. Bruce has most recently served as a Personal Sales Representative and Program Administrator at the Credit Union’s Main Office. He is a recent graduate of Ball State University, holding his Master’s Degree in Finance.

The Credit Union has recently expanded its insurance office, adding Simran Malhotra as its new Insurance Specialist. Malhotra recently obtained her insurance license and is providing claims assistance, issuing policy changes, and more. She was most recently employed at PNC and brings over nine years of experience in financial services to the Credit Union. Malhotra holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Houston. She is a resident of the Geist area.
