Financial Center Federal Credit Union awarded two New Palestine High School seniors with $500 scholarships at the school's senior night on May 15, 2013. Recipients Julie Hilton and Cameron Nichols plan to attend Belmont University and IUPUI respectively this fall. Financial Center, which is known for its financial literacy outreach, began a new financial education partnership with New Palestine High School this year that includes a student-designed credit and debit card program that will launch in June.

Financial Center recently received six national marketing awards at the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing and Business Development Council's annual conference. The credit union, which underwent a complete rebranding in 2012, won three Best in Category Awards for brand awareness, branding/corporate identity, and a television ad series.
