Nominees

Board of Director Nominees

The Financial Center Board of Directors is comprised of nine members. Each year an equal number of Directors’ terms expire and the positions are filled in accordance with the Financial Center bylaws. In 2015, three 3-year terms will be filled. Applications from three qualified nominees for the Board of Directors were received and submitted by the Nominating Committee.

Mr. John Keneipp

Mr. Keneipp is a current Board member and a past Chairman of the Board of Directors. He has served on Financial Center’s volunteer committees for several years. Mr. Keneipp has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting and over 30 years of experience in Financial Management. He has completed several credit union industry workshops and regulatory required courses. He will bring to the Board his experience in management, information technology, marketing, strategic planning, auditing, and financial institution operations. Mr. Keneipp meets all the prerequisites for a position on the Board of Directors.

Ms. Jeanne Lugo

Ms. Lugo is a current member of the Board of Directors. She has experience on numerous committees and is currently the Second Vice Chairman. In addition to her time with the Credit Union, Ms. Lugo is a retired Army Colonel with over 30 years of financial and management experience that includes completion of credit union regulatory courses. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration with an additional Master’s in National Resources Strategy. She will bring to the Board her experience in management, marketing, information technology, strategic planning, finance, and human resources. Ms. Lugo meets all the prerequisites for the position on the Board of Directors.

Mr. James Fuquay

Mr. Fuquay is seeking his first term on the Board of Directors. Mr. Fuquay has previously served on Financial Center’s Supervisory Committee. He has 36 years of experience in audit and financial management. Mr. Fuquay has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration. He will bring to the Board his experience in management, financial operations, auditing, marketing, information technology, and budget formulation. Mr. Fuquay meets all of the prerequisites for a position on the Board of Directors.

Nominations for Board of Directors vacancies may also be made by petition signed by one percent of the membership, with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 500. Each nominee by petition shall submit a statement of qualifications and biographical data with their written petition, along with a signed certificate that they are agreeable to nomination and will serve if elected to office. The deadline for receiving nominations by petition is February 13, 2015. The election will not be conducted by ballot. There will be no nominations accepted from the floor when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled.

Supervisory Committee Nominees

The Financial Center Board Supervisory Committee is comprised of five members. Each year an equal number of committee member terms expire and the positions are filled in accordance with the Financial Center bylaws. In 2015, two 3-year terms will be filled. Applications from two qualified nominees for the Supervisory Committee were received and submitted by the Nominating Committee.

Mr. Tom Spahr

Mr. Spahr is a current member of the Supervisory Committee and serves as the Committee’s Secretary. Mr. Spahr has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He works as a Financial Management Specialist in Enterprise Solutions and Standards (ESS) Disbursing for the Department of Defense/DFAS. Mr. Spahr also has numerous years of financial management experience including budgets, audits, information systems, compliance, and resource management. Mr. Spahr meets all of the prerequisites for a position on the Supervisory Committee.

Mr. Bobby Derrick

Mr. Derrick is a current member of the Supervisory Committee and serves as the Committee’s Vice-Chair. Mr. Derrick has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Mr. Derrick has served as the National President for the Association of Government Accountants. He has extensive experience in business management, accounting, financial audits, information systems, and compliance. Mr. Derrick meets all of the prerequisites for a position on the Supervisory Committee.
