Specially Designed Credit Card Supports Cathedral High School
Financial Center is giving the school a donation for each card opened. The Cathedral card concept was shared with the alumni at the school's annual trivia night in October, and the card designs were unveiled at Cathedral's boys basketball game against Arsenal Tech on December 7th.
Carrying on the Credit Union's commitment to youth financial education, it has made Financial Literacy Manager, licensed teacher, and Cathedral alum, James Davidson available to lead guest lectures at the school.
"Financial Center is always looking for new ways to forge unique partnerships with incredible schools like Cathedral who share the same vision to live philanthropically and financially responsible," said James Davidson, Financial Literacy Manager at Financial Center and Cathedral alum. "Not only is the Cathedral card a cool way for alumni to show their school pride and give back, it's a low-interest credit card that makes great financial sense."
"We are pleased to partner with Financial Center in offering Cathedral High School credit cards," says James F. Williams, Cathedral's executive vice president and CFO. "We believe the program gives Cathedral families, alumni, and friends a chance to show support for the school as well as help promote sensible and responsible financial management through educational opportunities for students."
