Credit Unions Help People

This past week I had the opportunity to attend and speak at the 75th Indiana Credit Union League convention in downtown Indianapolis. I enjoy meeting colleagues from around the state and discussing what they are doing to promote their credit unions.

Credit union employees are different from those in other industries because of their collaborative nature. I gave two presentations last week and one was on utilizing social media in marketing. I was glad to share my experience and knowledge with the attendees.

Over the weekend I thought about the convention and how it was really a microcosm of the entire credit union movement. The credit union philosophy is, "People helping people." This philosophy came to life last week as I talked with others.

If you're seeking a bank or financial institution that will not only provide the products and services you need, but also help you achieve your goals, consider an Indianapolis credit union and join Financial Center.
