Full and Part Time Personal Service Representatives

Department:  Center Locations

Key Responsibilities:  Daily opens and closes teller terminal, maintains proper amount of currency in drawer, accounts for assigned cash, checks and other monetary instruments and transactions, balances to the terminal teller/close report, remits receipts and excess cash to the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Should have one year previous retail sales experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) plus.

 

Personal Sales and Service Manager

Key Responsibilities:
 
Sales Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for executing the internal sales activities of the Center. 
  • Responsible for the selling and servicing the full range of Credit Union products and services. 

Deposit Duties:  Efficiently and effectively process customer requests for Credit Union deposit products to include:

  • Providing all necessary product information to the member.
  • Accurately completing the account application and any additional paperwork required.
 
Lending Duties:  Efficiently and effectively process consumer and second mortgage loan requests from members/non-members to include:
  • Providing all necessary loan product information to the member.
  • Accurately completing the loan application for the Loan Officer.
  • Disbursing loans according to the loan decision requirements.

Requirements:

  • Fulfils the credit union mission of providing the highest level of personal service excellence attainable in our market.
  • Should have two years previous sales and service experience at a financial institution or equivalent. 
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of loan policy and procedures and also interviewing skills and techniques.
  • Should be familiar with the Credit Union bylaws, policies, procedures and state and federal laws effecting all operations of the Center. 
  • Should have a thorough knowledge of all Credit Union products and services or become well versed in 90 days.

 

Center Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:  Fulfils the credit union mission of providing the highest level of personal service excellence attainable in our market.
 
Requirements:
  • Responsible for development and training of Personal Service Representatives and daily scheduling, ensuring the highest level of superior service and professionalism.
  • Resolving and correcting balancing problems, teller discrepancies, and customer concerns.
  • Efficiently and effectively process consumer loan requests from members/non-members to include:
  • Maintains and balances vault guaranteeing no out of balance conditions.
  • Should have at least three years experience in financial institutions with at least one year experience as a teller.
  • Should have at least one year supervisory experience.
  • Must have the ability to assign and coordinate the work efficiently, to give and follow directions, to motivate others and perform all supervisory duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills

 

District Retail Sales Manager

  • Center profitability goals are met.
  • Center sales and growth goals are met.
  • Member relationships are maintained.
  • Develops plans, organizes, directs and executes sales activities of the Center.
  • Coaches and motivates Center sales staff to ensure attainment of goals.
  • Monitors cross-selling opportunities via software recommendations.
  • Serves as credit union representative in the community - actively participate in community events and organizations. 
  • Projects the professional image of the Credit Union.

Requirements:

  • Fulfils the credit union mission of providing the highest level of personal service excellence attainable in our market.
  • Thorough knowledge of all deposit and lending products to include product knowledge, processing, underwriting and disbursement.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial loan products, sufficient to have initial conversations with prospects, qualifies leads and refers quality business.
  • Strong sales skills and strong sales coaching skills
    Proficient in Microsoft Office, Datasafe programs, Maestro, ATM, online services and all other internal programs.
  • Good knowledge of the local community – industries, economic base, culture, key leaders, competitors.
