The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) has approved Finance Center Federal Credit Union's request to expand its community charter. The Credit Union is now able to serve persons who live, worship, work, regularly conduct business in, or attend school in the Indianapolis-Carmel, IN Metropolitan Statistical Area, consisting of Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Putnam and Shelby Counties. This move will allow the Credit Union to serve nearly 1.8 million consumers in the greater Indianapolis area.

Finance Center Federal Credit Union hosted its fourth annual Member Appreciation Night with the Indianapolis Indians on July 18, 2011. Over 2,000 members, employees, and volunteers received free tickets to watch the Indians take on the Charlotte Knights.
